I stopped in the Michael Stars store at Fashion Island last week to pick out a gift for a friend. I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice selection of merchandise on sale. I bought a great oversized sweater for my friend and a different sweater for me, both on sale. Caty and Emily made suggestions and helped me with sizes. They even wrapped my friend's gift. I've been a Michael Stars fan for years and still love the basic tees. I'm wearing tanks from years ago as workout tops now- they last forever. Thanks M Stars and thanks Fashion Island gang.

I have mixed feelings. I have liked Michael Stars over the years because they do make a quality t-shirt and the fit is quite good. I think they need to do some re-inventing because Michael Stars is so 10 years ago. Now that does not stop me from purchasing an item on occasion because I believe they do sell a good product but I wish they would continue to use their great colors and find ways to maybe spice up it some.

I really needed to find a nice blouse to go under a sweater I just bought to wear to a Christmas party. The salesperson was so nice and helpful. She picked out several sparkly tops to try on with my new sweater and helped me decide which one looked the best. It's so nice to find such great customer service!

With cute blouses and friendly service, I thought this little store was a great find!
