I ordered a bed from this retailer, delivery was clearly stated within 14 days. I contacted the retailer to query when delivery would be and they confirmed it would be "early next week". When I was not contacted to arrange delivery I again questioned when I would receive the bed. I was then told the bed was being made to order and delivery would be in around six weeks time. This was unacceptable as they had clearly stated delivery would be within 14 days. They indicated this was a website error and assured me the website would be amended - it still indicates delivery 7 -14 days for the same bed. I cancelled and requested a full refund. I received a number of further emails offering to refund part of the charged amount until the bed was ready to be delivered. I was also offered a "good price" on anything else I ordered. Emails from Funique are invariably poorly written with spelling and grammatical errors. I do question exactly what kind of set up this business is and whether they actually hold any stock. I concluded Funique were unreliable and untrustworthy and requested a full refund of my monies paid. As expected they have so far failed to return my money. To be continued.

Mary Contemporary Dining Chairs

We ordered some fabric samples which arrived promptly and purchased the dining chairs in Nov 2014. Unfortunately Funique had issues with the supplier and were unable to deliver the chairs however they kept me updated and offered an exchange or full refund which I accepted.

Having looked everywhere for some similar chairs with the chic grey fabric and having no luck we called Funique and asked if the chairs were now available. Monika confirmed they were and we reordered six chairs, arranged and received delivery within three weeks.

Frank, Mike and Monika kept us updated including responding to us on a Sunday. Really happy with the quality of the chairs, the look of the fabric and the customer service of the ‘new’ Funique. Would definitely recommend!

Worth waiting for!

I ordered a Jack White velvet dining chair ( very kindly allowed to order one although system stated sold in pairs) in June. I spent hours trawling online looking for this white chair (to be used as a bedroom not dining chair!) and was delighted to find exactly what I wanted at Funique.

There were issues with manufacturers which I wasn't made aware of until I contacted in July. However once that contact was made I appreciate the excellent customer service provided by Monika with e-mails always answered very quickly. Disappointed with the long wait but good to see it in situ now. Packaging bit flimsy- long distance to Scottish Highlands, however it survived journey very well and was amazed at how cheap the delivery cost was-most unusual as we are normally charged excessive costs for delivery. Thank you.
