Looks great, works great. Rather big in size compared to other routers but still it is a great piece of hardware.

I have a gigabit internet connection at home, PPPoE. In order to benefit from the whole gigabit my ISP is providing me with, i needed to have a good router with a fast CPU.

After some research I decided to buy this one and i am 110% happy with it. Good WiFi coverage, good internet speed over WiFi and copper. I did a Speed Test on it and between the router and my ISP servers i got 940Mb/s download speed. Just what the doctor ordered! :)

This is a very fast router. I get up to 100MPS when using the 5GZ wifi. Yes, this router has to wifi blocks. I stream through the whole house and it works great. on the normal wifi I get 12mps up to 20mps. The unit does get warm, if it does have a fan you cannot hear it. This is the best router I have purchased. PLEASE NOTE: there is an update firmware that needs to be downloaded or you will have wifi problems. Make sure you download Linksys app and that's where you can get it installed easily. Please rate I was helpful below. Thanks!

Our Linksys router had quit. I was very happy with their product. I wanted to purchase another one and researched. The Linksys WRT1900AC Dual-Band Wireless-AC Router is awesome The dual-band speed up to 600 Mbps (2.4 GHz) + 1300 Mbps (5 GHz) for media. Fast data transfer speeds. No lagging. Quick and easy setup. Works great. We are very happy with this router. I would recommend it to anyone.

It covers an area that I previously could not cover, with great speed, esp @ 5GHz. Runs cool with heavy use. Yep it's Expensive! but it really does the job! Got a better price ordering direct from Lynkys.

I replaced a Linksys E2500 that was a couple years old. The new Linksys WRT1900AC fixed our problems.

1- No more dropped connections. Dropped connections were several times a day.

2- Now we have streaming video without buffering which made movies impossible to enjoy, i.e. DirecTV On Demand, Netflix, Amazon prime

3- Wi-Fi speed increase from 20 to 60 mbps

4- Range within the entire house

Set up was easy, about 15 minutes. I used my previous SSID and password. All devices logged on first try.

This was a great upgrade for my family. We used the internet daily.

THE GOOD -With powerful hardware, the Linksys WRT1900ACS Wi-Fi router delivers fast Wi-Fi performance at a really long range. It has brisk network storage speed when hosting an external storage device. Plus, the router boasts a cool retro stack-able design.

THE BAD- The router is expensive
